Since 1980, Central Plumbing Company Inc. has been proudly serving the northwest suburbs of Chicago with expert plumbing services, maintenance, and repair. Based in Arlington Heights and family-owned for four generations, our company was founded by Ed Ryan—a World War II veteran and lifelong tradesman—during a time of economic uncertainty. What began as a small operation has grown into a trusted name throughout the community, thanks to decades of honest work, word-of-mouth referrals, and an unwavering commitment to doing the job right.
Plumbing runs deep in the Ryan family. From our grandfather who served as a city plumber in Chicago, to Ed’s sons Tom and Kevin, and now to Rob Ryan, who is continuing the family legacy, the trade has been passed down with pride. Today, Central Plumbing specializes in residential and commercial service work, remodeling, sewer and water line replacements, overhead sewers, and more.
Every plumber on our team is fully licensed through Local 130 and has completed a five-year apprenticeship program. Unlike many non-union contractors, we ensure that a licensed professional performs every job. Ongoing education, hands-on experience, and a customer-first approach are at the heart of everything we do.
